A Puppy Welcome Package from Pablo & Co
When Amy first arrived, a Dutch friend of mine — who also lives in Australia, which is its own kind of small miracle — sent us a puppy welcome package from Pablo & Co. Thank you, I.K. very thoughtful and especially that you have been part of this journey. It was such a thoughtful gift, and Amy got more out of it than she has out of most things since.
A few of the items Amy has really taken to:
Bridget the Bird by Zippy Paws. This was the hit. It's a teether designed for puppies, with textured rubber sections built into a plush toy, so it works for both the chewing-everything phase and the carrying-things-around phase. Amy still picks it up months later.
2-in-1 Conditioning Shampoo in Bellevue. Honestly nicer than I expected. It actually smells like something I'd choose for myself, lathers properly, and Amy's coat is soft afterwards without being weighed down. We have repurchased.
What I appreciated about the package, beyond the obvious thoughtfulness of the gesture of my friend, is that Pablo & Co clearly curate. Every item was something we actually wanted to keep using, and a few of them have become part of our regular rotation.
